Summary: 

The Production Associate position is an entry level position to learn the processes of manufacturing and the different machines used in the process. 

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock: 

• Pushing Stock
• Stacking off from the machines. 
• Off load corrugated from the machines
• Assist operators and apprentices as needed
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. 
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed:

• Must be able to work all three shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required
• You must have a good job history and attendance record.
• Powered Industrial Truck experience is a plus, but not essential.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Industrial / manufacturing experience requested
• Maintain housekeeping excellence - maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Must be able to lift, push, walk, stand, and bend throughout a shift
• Corrugated box manufacturing experience a plus, printing experience very helpful
