The opportunity:
• Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and
components.
Must be able to apply knowledge in determining equipment malfunctions and
restore in all areas of Manufacturing.
• Equipment includes Corrugator, Flexo Printers, Rotary Die Cutters and Flexo Gluer’s.
• Primary duties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment in accordance with
company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown in line with OSHA
requirements; inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential
electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved and maintain company[1]required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. The job also
includes performing preventative maintenance functions as directed, assist maintenance
personnel with technical troubleshooting and to perform other duties as required.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the
ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance
of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

What you need to succeed:
• Ability to trouble shoot, schedule and plan maintenance.
• Follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to
accomplish job results.
• Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety
regulations
• A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment including the use of special
instruments for diagnostic purposes
• PLC experience a plus along with electrical trouble shooting including drives, contactors,
relay logic, etc.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for
problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power
tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using
rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Provides maintenance information by using CMMS.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb
bobs, and straightedges.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or training in a technical field
• Proven minimum 3 years experience in Industrial Maintenance
